Introduction

The focus of Europe's leading conference in the field of nanobiotechnology is on medical applications of nanomaterials for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Of particular interest is the characterization of cellular processes and mechanisms by state of the art nano analytical and imaging techniques. Furthermore, the use of nanomaterials in medical implants, in regenerative medicine and diagnostics as well as for targeted drug delivery will be addressed. Toxicological studies of nanomaterials and presentations of large NanoBio EU projects complete the program.
