We are pleased to confirm that the next 鈥楶ET- Technology and Application鈥 course is to be held in March 2016 at our Guy鈥檚 Campus, London.

The course fees are: 拢770 corporate, 拢660 non corporate, 拢300 student

Please note there is an early bird discount of 拢100 for corporate/non corporate attendees and 拢50 early bird discount for students. The early bird offers expires on 1 December 2015.

What does the course cover?
鈥 How PET radioisotopes are produced
鈥 The chemistry of labelling compounds with shortlived positron-emitting radionuclides
鈥 The design of PET tracers: impact on interpretation of scanning data (eg position of labelling, metabolism and sterochemistry)
鈥 PET instrumentation: how does a PET scanner or a cyclotron work?
鈥 How PET data is analysed (kinetic modelling, image analysis)
鈥 How PET is used as a tool in basic biomedical research, pre-clinical studies, probing in vivo biological processes/mechanisms, drug development and discovery, diagnosis and treatment of disease
