Citizen ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥appÏÂÔØ is receiving increasing appreciation for engaging a broad public in scientific investigations. For instance, in environmental studies, citizen scientists engage in measuring chemical parameters in their vicinity, filling critical data gaps by sampling in many more locations than are usually covered. This participatory component of citizen science opens conversations between researchers-by-profession and a broad public, empowering insightful environmental data acquisition, and broadly a deeper understanding of the pace of scientific progress.

What are the opportunities and fallacies in citizen science initiatives?
The Water ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥appÏÂÔØ Forum (WSF) committee has invited a panel of speakers with deep insights into the processes of conducting citizen science projects.
