RSC career advisers provide guidance to Associate, Member, Fellow, and Affiliate members, including RSci/RSciTech.
What topics do career consultations cover? Career consultations with our career and professional development advisers are 45 minutes long, tailored to your career stage and could include:
* guidance on how to manage your career and a review of your career so far
* help planning your next steps amidst uncertainty
* advice and support if you're facing redundancy, are unemployed or preparing for retirement
* advice on making a career change or taking a break
* strategies for job searching, including CV writing and interview techniques
* suggestions for networking, including maximising your LinkedIn profile and membership
* how to effectively use Professional Development tools
