The Inhaled Particles Conference series is a long-standing conference of the British Occupational Hygiene Society bringing together a multi-disciplinary community of scientists who have the inhalation of all types of particles and fibres as their key research focus. First held in 1960, the 2026 conference is the 14th in the series.

The International Particle Toxicology Conference (IPTC) is a series of scientific meetings focused on particle toxicology, bringing together experts from various fields. The conference has been held since 1979, rotating between continents, and covers basic research and applications in workplace safety, environmental safety, consumer safety, and medical/diagnostic developments. The 2026 conference will be the 14th in the series.

The broad topics of the conference encompass:

Emerging pollutants and hazards

Mixture Toxicology

Environmental (Eco-)Toxicology

Aerosol and Exposure measurement and characterisation

Biomonitoring and Biomarkers

Occupational and human health risk assessment

Adverse Outcome Pathways IATA' s Grouping and Read Across

Epidemiology and epigenetics

Systemic effects - e.g., neurological, reproductive, cardiovascular

Nanomedicine

New and emerging technologies and methodologies in toxicology/exposure assessment

AI-assisted technologies

Sustainability in particle exposure and hazard assessment

The abstract of your presentation should be a maximum of 250 words. It should contain sufficient detail/data to understand the broad aims, methods and outcomes of the work. Accepted abstracts will be published in a scientific journal so methods should be described and results provided.
