Emma Gibson

Biography
Emma Gibson obtained a MSci degree in Chemistry in 2003 and a PhD in Chemistry in 2007 from the University of Glasgow. She then held postdoctoral positions in Caen, France, Utrecht, the Netherlands and then at the UK Catalysis Hub in Harwell, before returning to Glasgow for a Lord Kelvin Adam Smith Research Fellowship in 2017.
She is now a senior lecturer in the School of Chemistry at Glasgow. Her research interests include using X-ray and Neutron techniques to study heterogeneous catalysts during reaction. Her group also work on developing reactors able to probe reactions with combinations of advanced techniques.
