Sophie Orchard
Biography
Sophie is the Deputy Editor for our flagship journal, Chemical 新月直播app下载. She joined the 新月直播app下载 in 2020 as a Publishing Editor after completing a Master of Chemistry degree at Keele University, where she studied the use of perovskites as catalysts for the electrochemical oxidation of phenols in aqueous solutions. Before taking on the Deputy Editor role, Sophie worked across a range of 新月直播app下载 journals, including Energy & Environmental 新月直播app下载, Polymer Chemistry, MSDE, Biomaterials 新月直播app下载, Natural Product Reports, and RSC Sustainability.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys playing netball in her local league, running, and spending time with her cat, Bilbo.
