A key theme from the data is how technicians and support staff are crucial in aiding teachers and their students. The results also highlight the strong need for an empowered, sufficiently staffed and expert workforce to give young people access to a world-class science education.

Since 2022, science teachers and technicians have been sharing their experiences in The ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥appÏÂÔØ Teaching Survey, which is led by the ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥appÏÂÔØ. This year's survey was supported by and our partners in the (SEPA), which includes the Association for ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥appÏÂÔØ Education (ASE), the Institute of Physics (IOP), the Royal Society (RS), the Royal Society of Biology (RSB) and the ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥appÏÂÔØ (RSC).
