About this call

With the field of nanotechnology and nanomaterials consistently growing, we would like to highlight the latest advances in the area of inorganic nanomaterials. We are looking for work on:

  • synthesis and characterisation of new inorganic nanomaterials
  • structure and bonding of inorganic nanomaterials
  • doping effects in inorganic nanomaterials
  • applications of new inorganic or inorganic-organic hybrid solids in pharmaceuticals, electrochemistry, catalysis etc

All types of manuscript – communications, full papers and review-type articles – will be considered for publication. The manuscript should be prepared according to our article guidelines. If you would like to submit to this collection, please email the editorial office to let us know the potential title, abstract and article type for your submission.

All manuscripts will be subject to the usual initial assessment and peer review processes as necessary, and inclusion in the Collection will be at the discretion of the Guest Editors. Please indicate in your submission that you are submitting to this Collection and inform the Editorial Office by email.

Following our peer-review process, we will publish accepted articles online in a citeable form as soon as they are ready, with compilation of the complete collection in 2026.
