Introduction

The annual meeting of the Brazilian MRS is an international and interdisciplinary forum dedicated to recent advances and perspectives in materials science and technology. In recent editions, the meeting has gathered between 1,100 and 2,100 participants from various parts of Brazil and dozens of other countries. â€‹This year, the event comprises 23 thematic symposia, organized by more than 100 researchers from Brazil, Canada, France, Italy, Russia, UK, USA, Sweden and Switzerland. This meeting also features 8 plenary lectures.
