Workshop on Sustainable Polymers and Circular Economy of Plastics

Introduction
The workshop is organized by the University of Salerno and the Italian Chemical Society, Campania Section, under the auspices of AIM, the Italian Association of Macromolecular ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥appÏÂÔØ and Technology.

The workshop will cover the main issues of polymer sustainability: 
  • bio-based/biodegradable polymers  
  • new monomers and new polymeric materials 
  • innovative polymerization processes  
  • mechanical and chemical recycling 

A session will be devoted to case histories of companies focusing on polymer sustainability and to connections between the science and technology of plastics, social needs and policy. 

The workshop programme will include plenary lectures by leading international scientists, oral communications and poster sessions involving all the participants in a relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful location, the Hermitage Resort & Thermal Spa, Ischia, Italy.
